Aus einer schlichten, hochwertigen Grußkarte wird beim Aufklappen ein dreidimensionales kleines Kunstwerk – wunderschön, filigran und handgemacht!
Die Pop-Up-Papierkunst stammt ursprünglich aus Japan und ist eine Art von Kirigami. Die aufwendigen Designs werden zunächst am Computer erstellt. Mit Hilfe von Lasern werden kleine Elemente aus Feinpapier ausgeschnitten, von Hand zusammengesetzt und mittels Nadel und Faden mit einer hochwertigen Klappkarte vernäht. So enstehen sehr detailgetreue kleine 3D-Objekte. Die Designarbeit, aber auch die handwerkliche Arbeit spielen die wichtigsten Rollen. Die gesamte Herstellungszeit einer Karte beträgt ca. 30-60 Minuten.
Durch Aufklappen werden die Karten immer wieder lebendig und überraschen durch ihre aufwändige, filigrane Konstruktion.

LIN verwendet ausschließlich chemikalien- und schadstofffreies Papier der Sorten Kishu und Fedrigoni, um die Sicherheit der Mitarbeiter in der Produktion zu gewährleisten und ein Produkt von hoher Qualität anbieten zu können.

Fair Trade
In der Werkstatt in Vietnam beschäftigt LIN zu über 50 % Frauen ohne Ausbildung, welche auf Grund schwieriger finanzieller Verhältnisse keine höhere Ausbildung bekommen können. Die Arbeiterinnen erhalten mit ihrer Arbeit bei LIN ein ordentliches Gehalt, um davon ihren Lebensunterhalt bestreiten zu können. LIN achtet dabei besonders auf die Rechte der Mitarbeiter bezüglich Arbeitsbedingungen und Arbeitszeit. Kinderarbeit ist verboten!

When opened, a simple, high-quality greeting card becomes a three-dimensional piece of art - beautiful, delicate and handmade!
The pop-up paper art originally comes from Japan and is a kind of kirigami. The elaborate designs are first created on the computer. In the Vietnamese manufacture LIN employs over 50% women without education, who cannot get a higher education due to difficult financial conditions. With their work at LIN they receive a decent salary, so that they make their living from it.
